about

From the liner notes:

Christmas is neat. All three of we three band members pretty much agree that it's our favorite of the mid-winter holidays (aside, of course, from the winter solstice) and ranks highly in the year-wide gamut. Everyone we've ever spoken with in our entire lives agrees, however, that Christmas has far and away the best music (aside, of course, from the vernal equinox), so we decided to take some of our favorite songs of the season and put them in to Tackleloco form. In doing so we found that we love Christmas even more. It might even be our all-time favorite now.

Christmas is a magical, wondrous time of spindly tinsels, dangling aphrodisiac twigs and the bittersweet, melancholic dreams of long-atrophied childhood memories gripped tightly by adults now far enough removed from the mythical golden age of youth to enjoy the holiday for what it really is: the chance to guiltlessly eat, drink, and be merry. Christmas is truly swell. At least we think so.

Enjoy.
